Our piano teacher Beatrice, in Shepherd, offers classical piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Beatrice has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. Beatrice has performed throughout much of the southeastern United States, along with several international performances and television appearances in Germany and Romania. She was also awarded second place in the E. R. Davis Piano Competition, and has participated as a judge for the National Federation Music Festival. Beatrice is also an avid chamber musician, having participated in many festivals, such as Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Port City Chamber Music Festival, and Chamber Music on the Hill. She has played with the Corinth Symphony Orchestra, the New England Youth Ensemble, the Winston-Salem Youth Symphony, and frequently performs with other local musicians in the community. Beatrice is an experienced accompanist for instrumentalists, choirs, and vocalists, and has worked at various churches as a music director and pianist/organist. As a passionate educator, Beatrice's goal with each student is to foster a love for the instrument while providing a strong musical foundation.
