Our piano teacher Christopher offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Piano Performance degree and experience teaching both children and adults. Christopher has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. In his career, he has performed in Canada, Switzerland, Ireland, and France. He has won awards for both solo performance and concerto performance. He has also performed at festivals throughout the Southeastern United States. Christopher also studied at Fribourg Conservatory in Switzerland, where he performed on piano at many concerts. He has performed chamber music with high school bands, violinists, cellists and vocalists. In addition to his solo degree in piano performance, Christopher studied accompaniment at the Collaborative Piano Institute, where he gained experience accompanying both art song and opera, in addition to instrumental music. He has since played as an accompanist for university choirs, church choirs, singers, and instrumentalists. Christopher is also an avid composer, and his works have been performed by the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra's string quartet and woodwind quintet. He also enjoys music theory and history and he has a published thesis on the accompaniment of Seventeenth-Century Italian Art Song. Christopher is a highly qualified piano teacher who greatly enjoys teaching students of all ages, and he is skilled at keeping his students engaged and eager to learn more.
