Lester: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Lester, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 9 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor degree in Piano Performance, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2004. As a pianist he has performed in piano recitals to great acclaim in South Africa, and he was awarded a distinction for his Honors piano recital exam. This piano teacher's repertoire of solo piano works covers a vast number of composers and works from pre-Baroque to today's contemporary classical music. He is part of a piano trio, which regularly performs at classical music events and festivals. Apart from that, he has been featured with several quartets and trios at various concerts since the early 2000s. This piano teacher has an extensive record of piano accompaniment at the highest level. He was appointed the official piano accompanist for the Tirisano Choir Eisteddfod in 2005 where he was assigned to accompany more than 30 school choirs. Furthermore, he has accompanied hundreds of university students for external and internal instrumental practical exams. This piano teacher was a finalist in the Fine Music Radio competition where he was also featured live on radio, and he has won several piano bursarys and scholarships during his academic studies at the University Of Cape Town. This piano teacher's vast experience as an educator and performer enables him to work with a wide range of students. He has an outstanding track record with his teaching, with many of his students winning awards and gaining distinctions in their piano exams.
