Sarah: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Sarah, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. In her career, Sarah has performed internationally, both as a solo jazz artist and as part of acclaimed funk, soul, and improvised comedy groups. She performed with the Oxford University Orchestra, and a range of other Oxford-based ensembles such as the contemporary-experimental ISIS ensemble. She regularly appears in BBC Radio programmes as a pianist and arranger. This piano teacher plays with a cellist for weddings, private events, and concerts. She has also accompanied jazz singers at concerts, gigs, and in exams, as well as a number of Oxford University choirs, including the world-renowned New College choir. As a professional film, television, and theatre composer, her piano scores have featured in work shown in cinemas and theatres internationally. The breadth of this piano teacher’s experience in the professional music industry gives her the perfect foundation to approach music lessons from all angles, whether it be theory, history, or composition. She is always mindful of providing excellent piano technique and an understanding of the music being taught.
