Humay: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Humay offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Doctorate of Piano Performance degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Humay has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. In her career, she has had many outstanding musical achievements as a soloist, including her performance at the Lincoln Center. She has participated in many festivals, such as Cortona New Music Festival in Italy, Bridging the Gap Music Festival in New York, International Chamber Music Festival in Stavanger, and Borealis Contemporary Music Festival in Norway. Humay is a winner of the Cortona Contemporary Performance Competition, Chamber Music Competition at Stavanger University in Norway, and Conrad Art Song Competition at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She is also a successful chamber musician, and has performed with Azerbaijani State Symphony Orchestra, Tactus Contemporary Music Ensemble at Manhattan School of Music, BIT20 New Music Orchestra in Norway, and Amalgama New Music Ensemble in New York. She has also accompanied singers on piano at the contemporary opera ensemble at the Manhattan School of Music. Her performance album of piano pieces by Azerbaijani composers was recently selected by Innova Recording Label— one the most famous recording labels in the US. While always hoping to maintain a positive example for her students, Humay tries her best to be as much of an inspiring piano teacher as possible.
